Life is busy here at the mission. But there are times, in between appointments and classes and meals, when the world seems to slow down. It’s in those rare, quiet moments when you catch things that you might normally overlook.

I had one of those moments the other day and was lucky enough to ask the right program participant how his day was. The gentleman looked at me and said, “You know Jon, it is so inspiring to be surrounded by a group of men that truly want life change. I’ve never had that before. … The people who surrounded me in the past always wanted to tear me down.”

This is what our program is all about: taking individuals with messy pasts and giving them hope for their future! Thank you to all the individuals who sacrifice their time, talent, and treasures to make moments like these possible.
