Here’s what you made possible in 2025
As we reflect on the past year, we are deeply grateful for the hope you’ve
made possible. Here are some updates on some of the men and women you’ve read about this year. Because of you, many reached incredible milestones: finding steady work and stable housing, restoring family relationships, deepening their walk with Christ, and even mentoring others beginning their recovery journey. These stories don’t end here. As we enter a new year, we invite you to continue walking alongside them and those still to come. Your partnership creates second chances, restored relationships, and lives renewed with purpose. Thank you for your unwavering generosity.
Jocelyn
As a child, Jocelyn witnessed domestic violence, and Child Protective Services briefly separated her from her mother due to drug use. After the family moved to Vegas, life grew more chaotic. “I had so much anger, I started getting rebellious,” she admitted.
Adrian
In 2011, Adrian’s son was murdered in a drive-by shooting outside his aunt’s home. Overwhelmed with grief, he shared, “I was so angry at God. I blamed Him for my son’s murder.” Already drinking heavily and using methamphetamines, his anger deepened his addiction and led to years of instability.
Abel
Raised in a low-income Santa Maria neighborhood, Abel grew up without a father. His mother raised six children while studying at Cal Poly, modeling perseverance. Abel carried that resilience into adulthood, discovering a passion for hands-on work in an automotive shop.
