RMA CC embraces ‘true spirit of Christmas’

In 2024, RMA CC welcomed around 2,000 guests at the celebration.

As the Christmas season approaches, we are reminded once again of the powerful truth that hope is born in the most unexpected places. For many in our community, this year has been especially challenging. Food costs have risen, jobs have been harder to find, and more families are facing scarcity than ever before. Yet even in the midst of hardship, God continues to work through His people.

Last year, our Christmas community event brought together nearly 250 people — men, women and children — who came to share a meal, celebrate and experience the love of Christ in a tangible way. It was a beautiful day filled with laughter, prayer and gratitude. This year, we anticipate serving even more. As needs grow, so do the opportunities to extend compassion and remind others that they are not alone.

For those in our Life Recovery Program, this season carries an even deeper meaning. Many of our residents are celebrating their first Christmas clean and sober, reunited with family or simply experiencing peace for the first time in years. Through faith, accountability, and the loving support of our staff and community, lives are being transformed.

As we prepare for our Christmas celebration, we invite you to join us — whether by donating, volunteering, or lifting our Mission in prayer. Every act of generosity helps us serve those who are hungry, homeless and hurting this season.

Together, we can share the true spirit of Christmas — a message of refuge, recovery and restoration through Christ.
