Being a part of the Rescue Mission Alliance Central Coast team affords me many blessings—the greatest is seeing real change happen in our clients’ lives! Today we had the honor of reuniting a husband to his wife, bringing restoration to his family.

Beginning a new life is never easy. He had to face some major challenges during his first few days in the Life Recovery Program; at that point it was 50/50 that he would be successful. I remember having a conversation with him about making decisions that lead to short-term gains, but long-term consequences—those aren’t situations one wants to engage in. I am excited that he went on to make a short-term sacrifice that will lead to his family’s long-term gain.
