A Look Back At A Joyous And Successful Year For The Mission

Help our most vulnerable neighbors stay safe and healthy

2018 was an amazing year at the mission! The Life Recovery Program was revamped with a third phase, so staff can be assured that graduates have a plan in place for sobriety, finances, housing, and community, and that all of their physical, health, mental, and spiritual needs are met before leaving the mission.

Ten graduates and one early completion from the LRP were celebrated this year. A new Transitional Living Program was built and seven men are currently taking part. Five are employed, with two of the newest grads being coached to find employment early this year.

Thousands of meals were served through the mission’s three weekly outreaches, which include a new shower ministry and farmers market. And the annual Thanksgiving and Christmas banquets were a great success, with all attendees receiving a hot meal, clothing and blankets if needed, and the love of Jesus shown through our dedicated volunteers.
