NEW LOOK. SAME MISSION.

We are excited to announce that we are debuting a fresh look and a new name: we are now Rescue Mission Alliance Central Coast.

FAQs

What's changing?

We are now Rescue Mission Alliance Central Coast. Today you'll start seeing our new logo and colors on our website, social media, mail pieces, and in other places.

What's not changing?

Our mission and values, as well as the geographic locations we serve. We have a new look, but we have the same commitment to those struggling in our communities.

When is it changing?

As of June 1, 2023, our new name and logo will appear on our website and social media. Over the next few months our branding will be updated on our buildings, vehicles, mail pieces, and more.

Why is it changing?

Our updated branding will allow us to better reflect who we are, emphasizing our local commitment as well as the strength and stability of the Alliance, which unites our four missions, two food banks, and six thrift stores in California.

How was the brand refresh funded?

A portion of our operational expenses are earmarked for communications each year, with the goal of using advertising, media and other outlets to reach more people. The brand refresh was funded through that budget.

Brand work is expensive, why do this and not just provide more services?

A more clearly defined brand will help us promote our services more consistently and effectively.

Does the money I give, still go to the same services and people in my community?

Yes! Your dollars will continue to fund programs and services that are helping people in need.

Why does the new name include "Rescue Mission Alliance" now?

While our local ministries remain dedicated to their communities—your dollars stay with the location you select—we also have strength in the services that the Rescue Mission Alliance provides.

How does a refreshed brand help Rescue Mission Alliance Central Coast reach more people?

Our research revealed that many of our supporters, as well as those in need of services, didn't always understand the full scope of what we do and how far our organization reaches. Because of the ongoing homeless, addiction and hunger crises, we know we need to reach as many people as possible with our message. A more clearly defined brand will help us promote our services in a more consistently and effectively.

Will your website URL and email change?

No. Our website will still be ccrescuemission.org and you can continue to email your contacts at the same email address you always have.

I still have questions, how can I get more information?

Please email Director of Communications Joann Gillett at jgillett@erescuemission.org with any questions.
